Privacy
Short version. If you message me on WhatsApp I see your number and what you write. If you use the form I get what you type in it. I use that to reply to you and for nothing else. I don't sell it or share it.
This site counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or follow you around. WhatsApp is run by Meta and has its own rules.

Who I am
I am Max Hammad, trading as maxswebs. I am a sole trader and I am the person who decides how your personal information is used (the "controller").
What I collect and why

I do not use your details for marketing unless you ask me to, and I do not sell them.
Who sees it
Only me and the services I use to run the business: Web3Forms (which passes the contact form to my email), Microsoft Outlook (my email), Cloudflare (hosting and visit counts), WhatsApp (if you message me there; WhatsApp has its own privacy policy), Stripe if you pay by card, and my accountant where needed. Where any of these hold data outside the UK, it is under UK-approved safeguards in their standard terms.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that do not become a job: 12 months, then deleted. Client and invoice records: five years after the 31 January following the tax year, because HMRC requires it. Website visit figures: as set by Cloudflare, and never tied to you.
Your rights
You can ask to see your information, correct it, have it deleted, limit or object to how I use it, or (where I rely on your consent) withdraw consent. Email max.j.hammad@outlook.com and I will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how I handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. I would like the chance to put it right first.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies and does not use tracking scripts. The prices page remembers nothing between visits.
Changes
I will update the date at the top if this changes.
